2.    Positive energy
I have noticed once I am working out, even if it’s something as basic as walking around the block, I feel I have this positive energy. I think it is important to step away from your stressful lifestyle and clear your head.

3.    Makes you feel more confident
After I work out I feel better about myself. I don’t know what it is but I feel more confident as well. After being active at least four times a week you will notice a change in your body. I promise you this will make you feel amazing about yourself.

4.    Helps anxiety
In the past year or two I have had bad anxiety. I know a lot of people think when they are anxious they can’t work out but in reality if helps calm you down.

5.    Helps overall health
Working out has many more benefits than just being positive. It is great for your overall health. It can help you lose weight, lower cholesterol and give your natural energy!

2.     More energy

Before I transformed my lifestyle, I use to have no energy, especially in the winter! Eating healthier, working out regularly and keeping those nasty negative thoughts out of my mind have helped so much! I can honestly say at least 5 days a week I wake up happy and well rested!

3.     More confident

Many people don’t realize how healthy it is to be confident in your own skin. Many people want to change their body or looks. I have noticed once I become comfortable with myself I am much happier!

4.     Don't sweat the small stuff

This is a huge one! I use to always get stressed out and get anxious about almost everything. It is so important to try your best not to worry about things that are out of your control! It can be so difficult but the benefits are amazing!

5.     Healthy relationships

Overall, changing my lifestyle has changed relationships with my family and friends. It is so much more fun to not constantly worry about things. I am the type of person to always have to make a plan or schedule for events and this drives people crazy. I been having a lot more fun with just going with the flow!

These are just a few of things that I have noticed a change! What are some changes you noticed!?

5 Ways To Wake Up Motivated!

Have you felt like you just couldn’t get out of bed? I know I have! It is extremely hard, especially in the winter. But is so important to start your morning off with positive energy! Below are some tips that have helped me when I felt unproductive in the morning.
1.   Get out of bed immediately
Getting out of the warm, cozy bed is one of the hardest parts of your day. The reality of it though, is the faster you get out of bed, the less time you have to overthink and start doubting yourself! You can do this!
2.   Stretching
So, you have got out of bed at this point, which is great, The next thing you should do is to take 5-10 minutes to do some stretching. This helps you wake up and loosens up your body!
3.   Make a list
At this point you are somewhat awake. You are ready to start your day with positive energy. In order to stay organized and not overwhelmed, I make a list every morning of the things I have to do that today only. This helps me keep my mind at ease because it helps me organize my thoughts and priorities.
4.   Listen to music
Listening to music while you are getting ready always gets me motivated for the day. This also helps me keep my mind off the million things I have to get done. Listening to your favorite music can put you in a great mood to start your day!
5.   Working out
I know in the morning all you can think about is sleeping, but if you force yourself to work out in the morning you will have a much better day! Once you starting doing this 4-5 days a week you will know the difference! Remember having an off day and skipping a work out here and there is okay, you are human!

I hope you enjoy and benefit from these 5 ways to get motivated every morning! What things work for you in the morning when you are feeling lazy? Please feel free to comment below!

Introduction

I am currently a Walsh College student and new to blogging. I am here to help motivate others to be more positive and healthy! As of 2016 I have decided to change my life around! I have been working out 5 days a week and eating more healthy meals. But that is just part of changing your life! It is so important to have more positive thoughts. You need to start thinking positively compared to negatively. Don't think of things you can't do and start thinking of things you can do! Always remember that anytime you change something, it takes times! So please do not get discouraged if you do not see a change in the first weeks. The times I am down on myself or not motivated I begin to look at positive and motivational quotes. This has really helped for me! It is so important to have someone helping you because it is so easy to get off track, therefore, it is so beneficial to have someone else making this change with you! It is okay if you can't find someone to tag along on this positive change, because I am here to help you! I can't wait to hear from everyone and I hope my blog brings happiness to your life!
