Have you felt like you just
couldn’t get out of bed? I know I have! It is extremely hard, especially in the
winter. But is so important to start
your morning off with positive energy! Below are some tips that have helped me
when I felt unproductive in the morning.
1.
Get out of bed immediately
Getting
out of the warm, cozy bed is one of the hardest parts of your day. The reality of it though, is the
faster you get out of bed, the less time you have to overthink and start doubting yourself! You can do this!
2.
Stretching
So,
you have got out of bed at this point, which is great, The next thing you should do is to take
5-10 minutes to do some stretching. This helps you wake up and loosens up your body!
3.
Make a list
At
this point you are somewhat awake. You are ready to start your day with positive
energy. In order to stay organized and not overwhelmed, I make a list every
morning of the things I have to do that today only. This helps me keep my mind at ease because it helps me organize
my thoughts and priorities.
4.
Listen to music
Listening
to music while you are getting ready always gets me motivated for the day. This
also helps me keep my mind off the million things I have to get done. Listening
to your favorite music can put you in a great mood to start your day!
5.
Working out
I know
in the morning all you can think about is sleeping, but if you force yourself
to work out in the morning you will have a much better day! Once you starting
doing this 4-5 days a week you will know the difference! Remember having an off
day and skipping a work out here and there is okay, you are human!
I hope you enjoy and benefit from these 5 ways to get
motivated every morning! What things work for you in the morning when you are
feeling lazy? Please feel free to comment below!

ReplyDeleteAmanda,
ReplyDeleteI love this! I always feel like I don't have enough time to take care of myself since I am always working. You have made me realize that doing the simplest things for yourself can make you feel more pampered and energized every day. I am going to try to establish a morning routine and see if it helps me feel a little less stressed. Great blog!
Amanda,
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome tips and pointers for how to survive the long winter months and to stay motivated. As a personal practice I always like to make lists, not just for items needed at the grocery store, but also tasks that need to get done. Thanks for the post!
