5 Reasons Why Staying Active Keeps You Positive

1.    Less stressed out
Currently I am a full time student and with that comes a lot of stressors! Especially because I am graduating in June it is extra stressful. I have finally took everyone’s advice and to work out when I am feeling stressed. I can honestly say this has helped me so much. It is like a weighed lifted off my shoulder once I am done.

2.    Positive energy
I have noticed once I am working out, even if it’s something as basic as walking around the block, I feel I have this positive energy. I think it is important to step away from your stressful lifestyle and clear your head.

3.    Makes you feel more confident
After I work out I feel better about myself. I don’t know what it is but I feel more confident as well. After being active at least four times a week you will notice a change in your body. I promise you this will make you feel amazing about yourself.

4.    Helps anxiety
In the past year or two I have had bad anxiety. I know a lot of people think when they are anxious they can’t work out but in reality if helps calm you down.

5.    Helps overall health
Working out has many more benefits than just being positive. It is great for your overall health. It can help you lose weight, lower cholesterol and give your natural energy!

  1. Being a fitness buff myself, I can totally relate to how being active keeps you positive in many aspects of life. If I am upset, I usually turn to the gym. If I am stressed out and need a break, I often head to the gym for for a run. From a confidence stand point, the simple "look good feel good" saying about sums it up. Here is an article below that I found rather interesting to read. I work in a family business as the VP and right hand man to my father. I often send him this article.

  2. I work full time and go to school full time. I also race professional motocross so I have a crazy busy and stressful schedule. I know when I am stressed I go the gym and it really helps me out and I feel a lot better after. Good post!

  3. I really liked this post. Right now working full time, going to school, and with 2 young kids at home, I definitely get stressed out. Sometimes I forget to have me time, I used to always do that when I would go to the gym. I would make me stay active as well as let off steam.
